Black and white photograph of the opening of the new glasshouses at RHS Garden Wisley. Government Minister Jim Prior is shown cutting the tape, with Lord Aberconway, Lady Aberconway. Chris D. Brickell and Mrs Brickell also present. Dimensions 11.5 (h) x 16.2 (w) cm. Chris D. Brickell worked at RHS Garden Wisley from 1958, and was RHS Director 1969-1984 and Director General 1985-1993. Charles Melville McLaren, 3rd Baron Aberconway (Lord Aberconway) was President of the RHS 1961-1984. Jim Prior was a Conservative MP from 1959-1987
