Black and white photograph of Mr Brandall supervising student gardeners carrying out drainage work in preparation for the building of Aberconway House site at RHS Garden Wisley. Dimensions 12 (h) x 16.2 (w) cm. Mr J.H. Brandall was floral superintendent at RHS Wisley Garden 1943-1955. The hut in the background was for refreshments for visitors to the garden, and was the only place where food and drink could be obtained before the restaurant was built
