Celui ci est oblong, l’autre est rond et grand comme une tete d'un enfant, aux indes on les coupe et servent pour les ballayer sur les planchers ou appartemens /pesoit deux livres et demi et un demi quart vieux poid de Bruges. Plant Kingdom / This fruit came on 15 January 1815 from Ostend [Belgium], must be the grapefruit [or pomelo?], a species of citrus, this one is oblong, the other is round and as large as the head of an infant. In India they are cut and serve to sweep them on the floor or apartments. It weighed two and a half pounds plus an eighth, old Bruges weight.
