He thanks Robinson for his letter; he agrees with him that the surrender of Ireland was a dastardly act; he does not see how England, having applauded murder and rape, can recover from the dishonour or preserve the Empire; most of the members of the present government have loyal blood on their hands; he hopes to visit Robinson when the weather is warmer
