Printed inscription on verso, 'W.E. Debenham 158, Regent St. W.'. Thomas White Woodbury (1818–1871) was an English journalist and beekeeper. He was responsible for introducing Ligurian bees to Britain in 1859, and was the inventor of the Woodbury's Bar and Frame Hive.
