Unmounted medium format colour slide (from left to right) of Murdo Mackenzie (1896-1983), David Shackleton (1923-1988) carrying a camera, an unknown person crouching down. Wilhelm Schacht (1903-2001) and his wife Kate Schacht are in a boat. They are all at Garnish Island near County Cork, Ireland. Ink inscription on sleeve on recto: 'Garnish Island'; 'Eire'; 'Island'; '360'. Pencil on recto: 'Herr & Frau Schacht in boat; 'D Shackleton Exeter left head @ Garnish'. Address supplied. Full name: David Copland Beattie Shackleton. Murdo Mackenzie was the head gardener at Garnish between from 1928 till he died in 1983
