Unmounted medium format colour slide of a large group shot showing members from the Alpine Garden Society (AGS) International Conference at the Dower House (Boughton House). Ink inscription on sleeve on recto: 'International AGS conference II members from all over the world to own gardener'; '1975?'; 'At->'; '528'. Address supplied. At->' from the inscription is pointing to the address label. Valerie Finnis married David Scott in 1970 and moved into his home, the Dower House, part of Boughton House and one of the seats of the Duke of Buccleuch. Finnis lived at the Dower House after Sir David's death in 1986 until her own death in 2006
