List of plants, numbered (1-13), with name and condition [on arrival to England] ('in good condition' or 'in bad condition'). Includes Stanhopea, Oncidium, Maxillaria, Epidendrum and two 'unknown' plants [here the list includes 8 more plants]
Includes a note signed by Robert Fortune: 'The cases, having been opened and unpacked in Regent Street, Dr Lindley [John Lindley, assistant secretary of Horticultural Society] will be the best judge of the state in which they arrived, but from what I have seen of them, they seem in better order than we could expect them, taking into consideration the long time they have been on the way. Several of the plants are certainly new'
