He acknowledges receipt of a letter dated 16 Aug; the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have agreed to the request by the Council of the Horticultural Society of London that Theodor Hartweg may send specimens from Mexico to England on the Mexican packets [ships] free of charge, providing they are not so large or numerous as to inconvenience the passengers
