Written from 3 Upper Grosvenor Street, London W. Manuscript
He is just back from Rhyl; Longmans sent him £4 for the article in Quain’s dictionary [‘Quain’s Dictionary of Medicine’]; at the last cremation meeting all they decided on was to circulate the correspondence with the Home Secretary to all the main newspapers; he wants to know when Robinson’s cook is disengaged as he might help her on the nursing way; if Robinson writes down what he wants to do in the New Forest, Wells will send it to the right place, either the ranger or the commissioner of woods and forests; if it is his book ‘Ovarian and Uterine Tumours’ Robinson is thinking of, he will have a copy sent by post, though what Robinson will do with it he cannot imagine
The letter has been incorrectly annotated ‘Sir Thos Welby’ in ink
