Written from Bingham Rectory, Nottinghamshire. Manuscript
She has drawn a flower of Lasiandra macrantha from her greenhouse and asks if Robinson can use it in ‘The Garden’; she thinks she owes thanks to Robinson for several copies of ‘The Garden’ of 3 Feb containing her son’s [Frank Miles] article on lilies and a drawing; she thinks Robinson’s artist missed a little bit of poetry in the arrangement of the blossoms; she believes the illustrations in ‘The Garden’ should be more artistic and poetical than in the usual horticultural publications
Dated ‘Wed 7’ [1877; Frank Miles’ article was published in ‘The Garden’, 3 Feb 1877]
