He could not get Maw’s or Ball’s [John Ball, botanist] opinion last year at the time that he had the plates of Marocco [Morocco] plants in hand, and so he got none copied, but reproducing them would be cheap; if they can determine the nature of the work, and number of copies to be put on sale, he would in all future cases of Marocco plants have the requisite number of plates reproduced, but he has so many small matters to handle that he gets confused; Ball has disappeared to finer weather after naming the collection down to Leguminosae; he wishes he could go with Maw to Algiers
