Written from Stillyans, Horeham Road, Hawkhurst. Manuscript
She and her youngest son [Ralph Henry Nevill] have been here since Thursday, and are very happy looking after the flowers; they have a good collection but they are in their infancy; she asks Maw to help them with plants, especially the gorgeous Crocus he showed her; they hope the railroad will be finished soon, but until then he should send anything for her to Uckfield Station, and then by Mr Bourne’s van; they should be settled by the end of July, and she invites Maw to visit so she can show him around; they should be in London for some time about the 6th. Dated Monday [1880 added in a different hand]
