She has received Froebel’s [Theodor and Otto Froebel] catalogue, and sends it to Maw so he can mark the rarest plants for her; she asks if any of the lilies of the valley are worth having; they hope that their [railway] line will open early in March, and asks if they could wait until then for the saxifrages; she hopes that when he is next in London, he, Mrs Maw [Frederica Mary Maw] and their daughter would come to lunch. Dated 22nd [1880 added in a different hand; the subject matter matches letters written in 1880]
