Sir Julian Risdale, CBE, was a politician with a particular interest in Japan. Mr Minoru Arai was President of the RHS Japan Branch from 1986. Robin Herbert was President of the RHS 1984-1994. Harry Baker was Fruit Officer at RHS Wisley Garden
